Are you interested in web design and need a website? Well, I have over 14 years of experience designing websites, from one to five pages or a full-blown (CMS) corporate website with all the bells and whistles.
Ok, upfront... I am not one of those web designers that likes to use website templates, I like to create everything from scratch. Lord knows the world has seen plenty of cookie cutter web sites out there on the World Wide Web already. My belief is if you have a unique business, then you should have a unique website for your business so it will stand out from the crowd and your clients will enjoy visiting your site (Note: some call this branding). I designed this website you are viewing at this moment, it kind of catches your eye. But, it's simple and the information is easy to access.
My Method
The best websites are built with a method I like to call "KISS", keep it simple stupid. Some might think I'm referring to the world's greatest rock band "KISS". But that's not what we're really referring to at this point.. They are a great band, through.. he he!
One of the biggest mistakes when building a website is making it really hard for people to access the information they're looking for. My method simplifies that task so folks can find exactly what they're looking for when visiting your website. This is a most important fundamental objective of even having a website, because we are actually in the day in age where we want it now. So BAM!! We need your clients to find exactly what they're looking for immediately, so you can make that sale.. Right?
How I Create A Website
Once, I gather all of this information from you I will create some mock up custom templates for you to view and then you can select which one you like the best. Once you have selected the template pattern you like best, I will then build your website and publish it to the World Wide Web. Now, during this time I will also create meta tags for your website so everyone can find it. This is also a very important part when you build a website.
All About Meta Tags
The meta tags and your website go together. I have been pretty shocked over the years when someone comes to me with a website built by a really big company, not mentioning any names of course. It would seem, they build a beautiful website and forget the meta data behind the website. Whoops! Big problem.. To me this is giving you half of a product that no one will ever see. Because the meta data behind your website is your address zip code for everyone to come see you. It houses your keywords and phrases, title, business name and so on. It's really rather important that a website has this information. But, then again.. You may read on the net where some Hi-tech geeky guys say, meta tags are not really relevant anymore Google doesn't look at meta data, this maybe true.
But, Google is not the only search engine on the World Wide Web. Other search engines reference the content (text) on your web page everyone views and collect meta data (meta tags) behind the scenes, and other search engines still use these little pesky robot critters called "crawlers" to detect this information so they can place your website in categories and ranking position on the web. Of course there's a lot more to it than that (algorithms in all). But, this is the basic's. To me it makes no sense to put all of your eggs in a basket for just one search engine and exclude the others. Including the others can create more traffic to your website and that could possibly lead to more sales. *I know that was a bit of a rant, but you deserve to know the facts... Right?
Wrapping Up Your New Website
Okay, so when I'm completely done with your website it will have a beautiful look and it will have the meta data behind the scenes. I will also submit your website to hundreds of search engines across the web.
You then have an option with me to do a monthly plan, if you would like to have me update your site periodically or I can just build your website and hand it over to you completely. I believe in giving folks the option to have their property. Either way, you own it out right. Just let me know which suits you best.
